Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using Voxe at voxe.app ("the Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About Voxe

Voxe is a browser-based document formatting tool that helps you create, design, and export invoices and proforma documents as PDF files ("the Service"). Voxe is designed as a convenience and productivity tool for generating document layouts.

Voxe is not:

  • Accounting software

  • Tax preparation software

  • Financial advisory software

  • Legal services or legal document preparation

  • Bookkeeping software

  • An electronic invoicing system certified or approved by any tax authority

  • A replacement for professional accounting, legal, or financial advice

You are solely responsible for ensuring that any documents you create using Voxe comply with applicable laws, regulations, and professional standards in your jurisdiction, including but not limited to invoicing requirements, tax obligations, and record-keeping rules.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Voxe, you confirm that:

  • You are at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is higher

  • You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement

  • You are using the Service on behalf of yourself, or, if acting on behalf of an organisation, you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms

  • You agree to use the Service in compliance with these Terms and all applicable laws

3. Not Professional or Certified Software

3.1 No accounting or tax compliance guarantee

Voxe generates document layouts and PDFs based on information you enter. Voxe does not:

  • Validate whether the content you enter is accurate, complete, or legally compliant

  • Verify whether your invoices meet the legal requirements of any tax authority, jurisdiction, or regulatory body

  • Perform any accounting calculations, tax calculations, or financial analysis

  • File, transmit, or submit documents to any government authority on your behalf

  • Certify or authenticate documents in any legal or official capacity

The outputs produced by Voxe are formatted documents only. The accuracy, legal validity, and compliance of those documents is entirely your responsibility.

3.2 No substitute for professional advice

Nothing on Voxe or in its outputs constitutes accounting advice, tax advice, legal advice, or financial advice. You should consult qualified professionals (accountants, tax advisors, lawyers) for advice relevant to your specific situation before relying on any document created with Voxe for legal, tax, or financial purposes.

3.3 Jurisdiction variation

Invoice and document requirements vary significantly between countries, regions, and industries. Mandatory fields, numbering conventions, tax identification requirements, electronic invoicing mandates (such as e-invoicing obligations in the EU and elsewhere), and record-keeping rules differ by jurisdiction. Voxe makes no representations that documents generated using its templates satisfy the requirements of any specific jurisdiction.

4. Your Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

  • The accuracy and completeness of all information you enter into Voxe

  • Ensuring that documents you generate comply with the laws and regulations applicable to you

  • Maintaining appropriate records of your invoices and financial documents independently of Voxe, in a format and manner required by applicable law

  • Verifying that any party (customer, supplier, or counterpart) accepts documents generated by Voxe

  • Maintaining any required backup copies of your documents, as Voxe does not guarantee that data stored in your browser will persist

Voxe is a tool, not a custodian of your financial records. You must not use Voxe as your sole or primary record-keeping system.

5. Permitted Use

You may use Voxe to create invoices, proforma documents, and similar commercial documents for lawful purposes. You may not use Voxe to:

  • Create fraudulent, misleading, or deceptive documents

  • Impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity

  • Generate documents used for money laundering, tax evasion, or any other illegal activity

  • Violate any applicable law or regulation

  • Attempt to interfere with, damage, or gain unauthorised access to the Service or its infrastructure

  • Reverse-engineer, copy, or reproduce the Service or its codebase, except to the extent permitted by applicable law

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Our content

The Voxe name, logo, design, code, templates, and all other content and materials associated with the Service are owned by or licensed to Voxe and are protected by intellectual property laws. You may not use our branding or materials without prior written consent.

6.2 Your content

You retain ownership of all data and content you enter into Voxe. By using the Service, you confirm that you have the right to use any information you input. We do not claim ownership over your document content.

6.3 Feedback

If you provide suggestions, ideas, or feedback about the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use that feedback to improve the Service, without any obligation to compensate you.

7. Privacy and Data

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. The Privacy Policy describes how we handle information in connection with your use of Voxe.

As described in the Privacy Policy, invoice and document content you enter is processed in your browser. We do not store your invoice data on our servers as part of the core Service operation.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Voxe disclaims all warranties, including but not limited to:

  • Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement

  • Any warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components

  • Any warranty that documents generated by Voxe will be legally valid, compliant, or accepted by any third party or authority

  • Any warranty that the Service will meet your specific requirements

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties. If you are located in such a jurisdiction, some of the above exclusions may not apply to you.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Voxe and its operators shall not be liable for:

  • Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities

  • Any financial penalties, tax liabilities, or regulatory consequences arising from your use of documents generated by Voxe

  • Any costs of obtaining substitute goods or services

  • Any matter beyond our reasonable control

This limitation applies regardless of the theory of liability (contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise) and even if Voxe has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Where liability cannot be excluded under mandatory applicable law (including EU consumer protection law), our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to your use of the Service is limited to the greater of: (a) the total amounts paid by you to Voxe in the twelve months preceding the claim, or (b) EUR 50.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Voxe and its operators from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your access to or use of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or regulation; or (d) any content or documents you create using the Service.

11. Third-Party Services

The Service may load resources from third-party providers (such as fonts and analytics). We are not responsible for the content, availability, or practices of third-party services. Links or references to third-party services do not constitute an endorsement.

12. Modifications to the Service and Terms

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part of it) at any time, with or without notice. We may also update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will reflect changes. Your continued use of the Service after updated Terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. On termination, all licences granted to you under these Terms will cease. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and indemnification) will survive.

14. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Romania, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Romania, unless mandatory applicable law in your jurisdiction requires otherwise (for example, EU consumer protection rules may give consumers rights to bring claims in their country of residence).

If you are an EU consumer, you also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

16. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Voxe regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.
